Are you an employee? Do you incur costs because you have a job? It is possible that you could be getting a deduction on your personal income tax return.

If you use your home or car for your job then you can take a deduction. The key piece of paper that you need to take this deduction is the form T2200. Your employer has to sign that form indicating that you are required to incur expenses and that they are not reimbursing you for these expenses.

The form is available from The CRA website and most employers understand how to fill it in.

Take a look at form T2200 and see if you qualify. Maybe you could be saving some income tax.
