Last Call For December Year-Ends

June 30, 2017 marks the last day that you can file your corporate income tax return on time for your December 31 year-end. If you owe corporate tax and you are late, there is a late filing penalty. December 31 was nearly 6 months ago so your excuses for not having your financial statements prepared are sounding less compelling. I personally am looking forward to the end of June, this is when tax season comes to an end for accountants. It has been a long six months.

July is the month that I am generally considering selling my accounting practice, being sick of tax returns at this time. Usually by August I have gotten some sleep and the horrors of tax season are receding from my mind. So, if you want to buy my accounting practice – July is the month to contact me.
