If you have been following my work, you know that I have a lot to say about policies. I have variously suggested that you review a third of your policies each year, that you have a method for monitoring compliance with your policies and that you have consequences if the policies are not followed. I have also suggested that you have a policy for many aspects of your organization.
Today I am showing you the template that I have developed that encompasses all of these features. We have the name, date passed, who it applies to, the explanation of the policy, how it is explained, how it is monitored and consequences. This form is available here:
