Psychological Aspects to Pricing

Do you have the confidence to ask your customers to pay your full price? When I work with small businesses I often feel that I am part psychologist. Some owners lack the confidence to tell prospective customers their price. They appear apologetic about asking for a fair price for good work. Some customers will exploit this weakness and push the price further down.

The best practice is to state your price and shut up. You do not need to justify your price unless asked.
