Communicating policies can be a challenge for every group. Policies are in the policy manual and most people do not revisit the policy manual frequently. If you have a driver’s license, you once understood the Motor Vehicle Act. Do you re-read the act every now and again to make sure you are current on the laws? If not, I suspect you are getting your information from signs, like the ones which say “Share the Road” and have a picture of a vehicle and a cyclist.
Your group likely has policies which would be improved with signs, such as, “take off your wet footwear” or “this door to be locked at all times” and the 2020 version, “no entry without a mask.”
A group has to consider how best to communicate all their policies. For some policies, the sign will be the best method.
