The focus of this day was getting from Halifax where I live to Vancouver for the Global Speaker Summit. Normally this time of year is just the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers convention but this year we have invited the world. I always try and get work done on a plane, there should be fewer interruptions and if you can just focus it is possible to get some concentrated creative stuff accomplished. I was working on the new governance book which I hope to finish this week and get to my editor.
I also started an article on The Excuse Factory – the place where we invent all our rationalizations for not meeting our goals. Proof I got distracted from the governance book! Below is the picture from my hotel in Vancouver.
