The Volkswagen emission scandal is not going away. In fact new information is coming out that indicates that upper management was in fact fully aware of the defeat software that was installed on the vehicles. The part of this that I find interesting is deciding what would be worse – that VW employees could have actually carried out a scam of this nature on their own without upper management being aware – or – that upper management actually approved these activities? Either way it is a broken corporate culture.
