Time is running out for getting donations made to the charities that will give you a 2018 charity receipt. Review – only charities give you charitable donation receipts. I know this is obvious, but we get a bunch of receipts each year that are not from charities, when we are preparing personal income tax returns.
So, if you intend to get a deduction for a donation that you are making, be sure that you are making the donation to a charity. There are only a few days left in 2018 and if you want the charity receipts dated in 2018, make that donation soon.
